LuMin has settled into a new space just one block west of the Drag. There's a kitchen, worship/fellowship space, chill-out area, and our campus pastor's study.
Lutheran Campus Ministry has been serving UT for over 75 years - intent upon making Christ known in the "breaking of bread," working for peace and justice, serving boldly, and LOVING as we were first LOVED.
In worship, we confess together, sing together, listen together, pray each other's prayers together, and receive Christ in bread and wine - together. And in all this - God forms us to be "mini-Christs" on the 40 Acres and beyond.
Cate-what?! It's a nerdy way of saying we're a community that likes to learn about God together: Sometimes through Bible studies. sometimes through discussing "hot topics." Sometimes through theologizin' together (talking about God).
LuMin is intent upon creating a close, caring family at UT. All that we do together (worship, service, learning, fun) is about embracing each person among us for who they are. You can let down your hair, your guard, your carefully crafted Facebook avatar...and be yourself...and be Loved.
